Another important implication, having the map.yml file will replace the need for a mapName and gameName attribute to be specified in the XML, both of those attributes will become ignored after the map.yml file is used by the engine (perhaps starting in release 2.6)

A quick update regarding 32 bit installers - looks like it is no longer even an option for us. Not even a choice now whether to include it or not.

Basically, download the 32 bit JDK from some website (https://adoptopenjdk.net/releases.html) and do some re-packaging stuff. That website has JDKs only up to Java 16.

So.. any next release would be on Java 17 or Java 21. It looks like a 32 bit installer is no longer even an option for us (unless someone can find a 32 bit JDK21 somewhere; I kinda suspect such a thing may not even exist now).

I am disappointed to find this thread was not about horse stables.

@Frostion Side note, for the tooltips on map, I would find more useful getting the info about the unit value (usually, cost), so I'm really not seeing why we are getting told who is the owner and not what is the value of that unit, from someone that would have neither of them.

@Cernel I think you would be in the minority as most of the examples that both myself and @Frostion posted don't have a completely straight bar and mostly the ones that do are older games. The idea is to make the UI more dynamic and only take up the space it needs based on the information currently presenting so its more almost dashboard/widget like than pure bars/panels. As well as try to concentrate it more into the corners which act as sort of anchors so you have more visible screen area from a circular standpoint.

I don't have bandwidth to help here. The updates look good. Replacing the files in the map repository should be do-able with some googling and small determination.
