Ok, well, I'm Cradge! I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada, and I'll be 32 next month. I've played Axis and Allies Revised Edition for 10+ years with some close friends, although we've only played once or twice each year for the past few years. I really enjoy turn based strategy. I've recently become involved with Warhammer 40k and thoroughly enjoy it, although I must admit to a degree of naivete as far as painting the miniatures. It's a lot of work! I like computers and PC gaming. I enjoy card games, board games, tabletop games, anything that has nuances and involves tactics and critical thought. That't not to say I excel at any of it! I'm glad to be welcome and look forward to some friendly competitive gaming.

@alkexr Was watching some people on the lobby play this... noticed a pretty significant issue in terms of playability. Since there a zero flags for any nations... it makes it kinda difficult to try to figure out who is playing what. Might want to put adding flags (at the very least small) on the list of things to do.

@sculpt Yeah, the AI currently doesn't support Kamikaze from either a defending against it or using it on attack. I've added it to the list of things that I'd like to eventually have the AI support: https://forums.triplea-game.org/topic/105/ai-development-discussion-and-feedback

@benlessard Yah Venezuela/Colombia neutral/impassable is one of the traditional nonsense of A&A games, also realistically. Obviously, it should be "Americans", and it should have like 2 PUs value (platinum/oil...). The v6 map has some things I like; also the fact that Japan is not that strong.

When 64 bit processors compatible with the x86 architecture were introduced, they were referred to as x86-64. x86-32 (and x86-16) were used for the 32 (and 16) bit versions. This was eventually shortened to x64 for 64 bit and x86 alone refers to a 32 bit processor. The 32 bit processors are designed to handle a limited amount of physical memory maximum of 4GB but 64 bit can handle high memory utilizing 8,16 and some even32 GB.

Is anyone else having an "internal error" when they try to access new posts through the notification function?

@LaFayette When using two-factor authentication, you can still use this feature with certain providers. For example, Gmail provides App Passwords.

@Cernel said in Download counts of Game Installers: Just as a note, if anyone remembers, in the past I said that the installed was no good for me, because it ended up being awkwardly zoomed and blurred, but now I don't seem to have this issue anymore. I don't know how it solved and haven't changed terminal. I'm not sure if it was clear, we switched 100% to a completely different installer, hence why it may work. I get your point that it is not a fair comparison. For us it is a bit better to not offer many different options. We have to explain each one adequately well, it creates more variability in where problems can be, and frankly the extra options can make it hard on users to know exactly what to do. IF there is no problem with the current installer, I think we are pretty dedicated to that path. The prevoius triplea.exe IIRC had a problem and could not be used anymore, and there was not a way to creat a new one. Regrettably that is not an option. I think that may put a nail in the 'all_platforms.zip' distributable coffin. All things being equal, 60 downloads for a non-advertised download is a good number. I'm still wondering if there was a compelling reason there, we might be able to fix the other installers so all_platforms.zip is really not needed.
