Would be easy enough to do, there is a section of code in the engine that takes into account the type of unit, and blocks certain options based on the type, air, sea or land.

But as was done with "isStrategicBomber", which was blocked for land units, can cause side effects in the rest of the code.

There would need to be a discussion how to treat air units prior to allowing them "transportCost".

@cameron yea I don't think triplea can do that unless there allied Ftrs being carried as cargo.

The Ftrs aren't actually on the CV in triplea. They just fly a endless CAP i guess 🙂

The "<!--" that was making the block red was the start of a comment section. You might want to remove the "-->" that marks the end of the comment section, "</territoryEffectList> -->", before it may cause further problems.

the Steampunk_Advanced.xml that i've been modding had them like that, as separate entries i mean.

Results Fast AI won in 9 turns as the Axis, the Hard AI won in 8 turns

The Fast AI successfully pulled off some risky attacks as the Axis, but still took longer to win the American even taking Italy for one turn.

With 4 victories in a row, using different scenarios, I can conclude the Hard AI is better.

so... just oldschool html and no css. and it doesn't like file paths either.

sorted it by using <img src="Flag.png"> and making a "doc" folder with an "images" subfolder containing the images and not <img src="../flags/Flag.png"> as i'd foolishly assumed... 🙂

i like keeping it local so that it works when offline.

@beelee Kinda heavy news that you slid in there. Let's not dwell, but thank you.

Some delay is still kinda welcome. I need some time to get the server stuff in a better state and documentation updated. With luck, the documentation will be relatively complete & self explanatory, but nothing like having another person go through it to really see where the gaps are.

Given that you already use linux, you're going to be fine! Some quick googling here to read up on places where you're unsure (and welcome to what is my day-job! Knowing a small bit of stuff, being unsure if you can do something, and researching it and then getting it done - you got it!)

On the plus side, the servers usually "just run", the stability of the apps is pretty good. I think the most urgent thing will be something like a server is out of disk space maybe.

I'll send you a message and we can keep the dialog open.

@cernel ISOT is an acronym that means Island in the Sea of Time. It's a book about the Island of Nantucket bring brought back to the Bronze Age. Think of it like a Western Isekai but focused on time travel instead of going to another world. Anyway, people use this acronym in Alternatehistory.com to describe stories with the same sort of premise

@rogercooper i believe all @zlefin did was patch the bugs that came from engine changes in 2.6
